Wildflowers

I'm trying to get in the habit of taking my camera with me during the day just in case I see something interesting - its a good habit I picked up from the two weeks of bootcamp.  I was glad I had it this week when I looked at the window and realized the slope next to the office was covered in wildflowers.  They were just dainty little purple flowers (and who knows, maybe they are weeds) but whatever they are they gave me an excuse to pull out the camera and capture a couple of images.

This song makes me happy - just like discovering wildflowers does:

I love wildflowers. I loved all of the little Texas Bluebonnets when I lived there. It made the dry landscape come alive.

I love those flowers! They were all over Maine and they're popping up around here too! I love that you've gotten into the habit of taking your camera everywhere! I'm the same way :)

Wildflowers are the best. I love how they make me feel like kicking off the shoes and wandering through a field.

Gorgeous.
I'm of the opinion that there are no such things as weeds, just wild flowers growing where we don't want them to, which is why they are wild.

Thanks for commenting on my blog, love your blog, so easy to read and beautiful pictures.

Weeds or not, they certainly are beautiful. I always have my point and shoot with me, but leave the SLR home unless I know I'll be taking photos. I don't always remember to look for the photos though!
