Black Eyed Susan's holding on for life

My wardrobe most of the year tends to be colorful, but come winter and I just can't get enough of black gray and navy.  So I couldn't help but be charmed by my mom's black-eyed susans which keep trying to add a bit of color to her hard even after most of the plant has turned black.

I couldn't help but think there was a message in there for me - even when the weather makes everything gloomy, it doesn't mean I can't keep trying to shine as long as possible.

Did you know Ingrid Michaelson has a new album coming out soon?  With songs like this I have a feeling I'm going to love it.

Neat picture. I am a 'Spring' gal in the coloring world and seem to always wear a bright color year round...even if only a scarf on my black coat.

This time of year is perfect for a pop of color! Wear a bright scarf with those blacks, grays and navys. :)

Love the photo! My winter wardrobe is basically black, gray, and brown, but I try to throw on colorful tees and turtlenecks to brighten up the winter.

Like you, I tend to gravitate towards greys and blacks in winter but I do like to add a bright colour in the form of scarf or umbrella( an everyday accessory here in winter!)

I think nature is telling you to add some brights to those neutrals. Don't worry, I live in black and gray in the winter too.

I love Ingrid Michaelson. Do you also listen to Adele? She has a new album coming out soon.

I truly believe that I live in black in the winter! Not sure why, but maybe it just seems warmer. Beautiful photographs!
