Still Running

When was the last time you had one of those weeks, where no matter how fast you run or how many things you tick off your to do list, you feel further behind with each day that passes? My week just isn't long enough, but at the same time, I feel somewhat energized because I am actually ticking things off the list (and some big things too like getting my second story re carpeted - a project I've been working on since last November.)

I'm also FINALLY getting around to turning part of my blog into a Blurb book.  I bought a Groupon to Blurb a few months ago, and it expires at the end of the week (I'm not a procrastinator at all.)  I started with the goal of turning my blog from 2008 and 2009 into a book.  Now I'm just hoping to finish 2008.  Anyone else used Blurb before?  I'm happy with it so far, but it is somewhat time consuming.  The only thing that is saving me this week is that 2008 was before I discovered photography so there are more word than photos in the book, but I'm also reliving an amazing vacation I took in 2008 and going through those photos (like the one above) have been so much fun.

Don't forget today at midnight (mountain time) is the deadline for entering the Shabby Apple Giveaway.  The dress I ordered arrived today and it is so cute, I can't wait to wear it.  Their 20% off plus free shipping sale also ends this week.

I suspect that at the end of the week, I'll still be running.

Oh - I expect this week to come to be just like that, because I´m behind on everything since we´ve been gone. Oh well. :-)

Blurb sounds interesting - will check it out! :-)

I am dying to turn my blog into a book. I started a blurb book a really long time ago, but I didn't like any of the layouts and I thought it was hard. I am hoping it has improved quite a bit because that is definitely something on my to do list!! Oh and from what I hear everything really likes blurb so really I should look into it. I hope you get the things done you need to!!

Well, this week will definitely be one of those. Last week was also, and next week will surely be, as I have a lot to do before I take off for NYC for the weekend. Of course, when I get back, I'll have to play catch-up for being away. Hmmmm, I'm seeing a pattern here :-(

I have looked at Blurb, but never actually used it. From what I have read, many people like it a lot.

You'll have to let me know how the blurb book turns out. I'd love to eventually turn my stuff into a book.

oh yeah, every week is a bit like that. Lately I've just been trying to learn how to let go and not be so flustered when I can't finish everything on the list (which I can't most days). I have to make peace with not having enough time for everything I want to do. :)

I love that photo Jamie. The colours are so soft and summary - peaches and cream! Good luck with the Blurb book - you are a clever girl.

I've been meaning to convert my blog and a lot of photographs into a published book for ages. Perhaps now that I'm at home with a few hours here and there while Emilia sleeps I'll have time (as long as I'm not procrastinating!) Looking forward to hearing what you think of the finished product.

I downloaded the blurb stuff & had intentions of doing a book of my 365 project that I never completed. LOL! Nice, huh?! Looking forward to hearing how it turns out!

We can run together if you'd like :) We can meet on the corner somewhere between here and there. I love Blurb! Time-consuming but once you've got the book in your hands, it all pays off.

My sons used Blurb to make a book of our family reunion in Italy. They surprised me with it for Christmas one year. It was the best gift ever!

I definitely want to see how this book turns out!

I know the type of week that you're talking about, but lucky for me, mine has been quite productive. I'm making progress on a new art quilting project:)
I've never made a Blurb book, but have seen the examples of folks that have. I am definitely going to have a book made when I reach the end of my first year (it's a long way off -Feb). I love "real" books, turning the pages and all. I will be interested to see what you think of the finished product.
Happy weekend to you!

Interesting...turning my blog into a book hasn't been something I'd considered. Well, not until now anyway :)
Excited to hear more about your book and the process.

Hi...I know the good feeling of ticking things off the to do list. Lately my 'problem' is I keep adding to the list. I just have to take advantage of the warmer weather for a lot of the things that need doing.

I've never used Blurb. I have been printing my blog in 6 months increments from Blog 2 Print. I always wait until they have a sale to do it. I don't include all my posts; usually eliminating my Good Will Wednesday ones. I'm very happy with them.

I'll have to check out Blurb. Let us know what you think of yours when you get it.

I've tried to use Blurb once, but I never made it to the end.
Sorry to say that but I think Blurb is too time consuming for me.
Hope you are well, lovely.

yours will be lovely i'm sure. enjoy your weekend!
