Artistic Friends

BEFORE
Office After 9 small
Last fall I shared the photos of my office remodel and mentioned that I have decorated in part with prints and photos taken by blogging friends.  Then this spring I shared photos of my office after it because a storage unit for my furniture when my sister and her family moved in.

NOW
Finished
It's taken me a few months, but I've gradually reclaimed my office and have expanded the gallery wall.  It is so fun to walk in here each morning and see the amazing art created by my friends.  I hope to continue to grow my collection of art - it is a huge wall and I hope that someday it is covered by the work of my inspiring and talented friends.

Source list:
Left side, top row:
Small black and white prints (2) - Kat Sloma
Light through the trees - Jennifer Lorton (etsy shop)

Left side, middle:
Focus print - Kristine Redekopp - Blue Elephant Photography
Yellow blossoms - Maegan - Madeline Bea (etsy shop)

Right side, top row:
Roses - Maegan - Madeline Bea
Small black and white prints (2) - Kat Sloma

Right side, middle:
Blue branches - Maegan - Madeline Bea
Morning Dew - April Newman Photography

A couple of quick notes about my collection - some pieces I've purchased, some were gifted and others were won in giveaways, but no matter how each was acquired, I love them equally.  I also have a few pieces that have landed in other places in my house that I hope to get around to sharing one day soon.

I discovered The Low Anthem a few weeks ago and can't get enough, if you get a chance give them a listen, here's one of my favorites: Don't Tremble. Pin It

Love your photo wall, it inspires me to get working on mine! And how wonderful to have those prints from friends. And? I love that read and white seat you have in there. It's a fab piece and is a great contrast against the blue wall. Nice to see you have your space back. xo

Awesome arrangement! Any time your travels land you smack dab in the middle of Canada, you stop by my place. I'll be sure to have a few things for your incredible design abilities to switch up. And I'll have some tea or wine ready :)

I am a really big fan of gallery walls. Although, mine are collected quickly, and then rotate through my "collection." lol.

I love the way the dark wall sets off all these lovely works of art. I do agree, however, that you should add a few pieces of your own.

I really like the mix of frames and pictures that you have here. I have always aspired to having one "Art wall" in my house, but will have to wait until we don't rent anymore. (Too many holes). Yours is so inspiring, Jamie! :)

I think we appreciate our homes more when we decorate with things we love.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that navy blue wall. I have been trying to think of where I could have one of those in my house all day today! And like I have said before you are lucky I am a Mills cousin rather than a Shaw cousin because I would have fought you for that mirror!
