How the time flies

Red Berries

Does anyone else feel like August lasted one week instead of four?  For me it just flew by and September is off to a similarly speedy start!

Thanks for your kind words on my August Break Travel Series.  Just as I decided to participate in the break this year I decided I needed a gallery wall in my house and thought a wall full of some of my favorite travel photos would be fun.  So I decided to combine the two into one project.  The project is going well, I have all the photos printed and framed, now I just need to get them hung.

My original August Break plan was to use the extra time to finish up a few projects at home and to spend more time with family and friends.  Thanks to a huge couple of work projects, things didn't go quite as planned (when do they ever), but it was still a relaxing way to blog for a month.  I, however, have really missed regular blogging and can't wait to jump back in.

A couple of weeks ago I got to see Adele in concert.  She was amazing, she moved me to tears a couple of times.  Let's kick off September in style:

Yes! August was over so quickly, and it just makes me sad. I'd like to rewind time and just relive this summer over and over. Although, I am not going to lie: I am loving the cooler temps that September has brought!

I am so surprised you didn't already have your travel photos framed...I only WISH I could take photos as well as you do, and would be so excited if even one of mine turned out as well as yours--it would be a 16X20 print. :) I loved your August break (although I missed your usual life updates), and had so much fun traveling through you!

I've always wondered...what do you do for work that allows you to travel SO much?

As for Adele: Love. Love. I can only imagine the powerhouse she is in person!!

I believe that of all the warm months, August passed the most quickly. it was the 4th and then the 31st. but for myself, I'm loving the cooler temps that Sept. has brought and I'm looking forward to autumn with a bittersweet feeling. I'm wondering, do you have a particular photo printing service you used for your wall of travel? happy day to you Jamie.

Can't believe that this part of the summer snuck up on us so quickly! Now it'll be counting down to the actual start of fall and the actual start of winter.

I really enjoyed getting a sneak peek into all your travel adventures. You are officially my well-traveled friend and I'd love to go to the places you've been to!

Adele -- steals my heart with every song she sings. seriously love that girl.

Nice photo to ease us into the coming Fall color! Summer went way too fast for my taste! I feel like I blinked and it was gone. Please post a photo of your finished wall of travel photos. What a great way to travel down memory lane again and again. I'm with Becky, curious about what printing service you like to use.

The best laid plans....Time seems to slip through my fingers. I'm seeing falling leaves and I feel as if I've just gotten over last winter. Was there really a summer?
I'm glad you're framing and hanging some of your images. I too am just starting to do that, but it's sure hard to select which ones.
Adele...the bomb. Even with limited hearing I know that girl can sannnnggg. She got soul. I never tire of Rolling in the Deep.

Welcome back. I didn't get all that I had planned done this summer either. I have got to get some of these things finished and off of my mind! Lovely shot, gorgeous red.

Yes, time flies but honestly I am okay with that for now :)

Can't wait to see your wall of photos. Several years ago we were invited to a party and the couple had hung their travel photos on a long wall. It was just stunning.

August is over? When did that happen? I've taken an unofficial break myself. And accomplished very little, except enjoying as much outside time as possible. I'm busy trying to catch up with blog friends, and wow, lady do you have some fabulous travel shots! I bet your wall of photos is stunning.
