Note - the great Blogger Fail of 2011 lost the original version of this post - good thing I was too lazy to write an actual post and it was mostly pictures which meant it was super easy to rebuild!
I'm so grateful it is Friday - I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend spent away from the computer. Here are a few more of my favorite photos from my trip to Thanksgiving Point.
What are your plans for the weekend? Something fun I hope!
Ryan Adams has been on heavy rotation at my house this week - anyone else out there love him as much as I do? I listened to his Oh My Sweet Carolina and it had me dreaming of my trip to North Carolina last year about this time. I fell in love with Ashville and I dream of getting back there someday.

Hi Jamie,
Can you believe blogger? Geeezz...Anyway, I'm glad you were able to repost without too much inconvenience. Your photos are so wonderful. Love the yellow/red tulip pic.
These are beautiful Jamie, especially the first one. What a wonderful place to visit. My weekend will be spent writing and grading final exams, but after this weekend, I am FREE!!!!!
Blogger FAIL...lol. What a pain. Anyway, I love these photos...just beautiful. Oh...Ryan Adams...*sigh* Have you heard his song Dear Chicago...omg...
Have a wonderful weekend!
Wow! Great use of aperture!! Sorry you had to redo your post. Ugh! I hate it when that happens! Have a great weekend! We're spending it at the Lake.

Saludos y un abrazo.
Such wonderful photos Jamie - the light is beautiful! And that song... sigh... I was sitting here, doing nothing, just listening - thanks so much. Have a wonderful weekend! I'll go back to Ryan Adams now to listen once again!
Your photos are just gorgeous!!!! Thanksgiving Point looks like a dreamy oasis :)
What a lovely place and stunning photographs Jamie!
hope you are enjoying it.. your flower shots are magical ~
This place sounds amazing! Love the photos. My plans involved sitting around playing with my little girl (which we did), continue grading my students' exams (which I'm still doing), practice drawing and get a post up (check), gardening (nope, raining too much), and I think that was about it. The rest I let happen on its own. My weekends are always full. :)
Hope yours is progressing just as you wanted.
Oh, and I love Ryan Adams.
love them all! the first has so much color depth! and of course I love your sunflare! LOVE RYAN ADAMS!
Gorgeous pics - and I want to be in pic number 2! :-)
I love your tulip photos as always. So pretty!
Such beautiful photos. What a beautiful place to visit!
Gorgeous spring images. Especially love the color here!
You know how when you listen to a song or artist that you haven't heard in a while it has the power to take you right back to that time in your life when you heard it first (and often)? Ryan Adams does that for me :)
What a beautiful spot. I love that little creek with the stones. The way the 2 trees form an arch is fantastic!
Wow, you certainly find beautiful spots for photos!
your photos glow. I'm happy you've picked up your camera again Jamie. I'm really loving that third photo. I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
Gorgeous! Fell in love with North Carolina myself and hope to get there permanently someday.

My weekend was shopping all day Saturday which exhuasted me and Sunday with family and then into my scrapping room last night. Oh and hanging with that cute guy I married. Hope your week is good.
