One of the very first things I pinned on Pinterest was this awesome ombre dresser:
It served as the inspiration for my other St George project last week. I took two Ikea Rast Dressers and with a bit of paint turned them from this:
To this:
I've been pushing myself lately to start doing something with the things I pin - turning the inspiration into actual projects. It feels good knowing that all the time I'm investing pinning is actually paying off.
Have you turned your pins into projects yet? Or are you still holding out on Pinterest?
I've been digging the new Dawes album, their song "Time Spent in Los Angles" has been on heavy rotation. Pin It

That turned out great - good of you to get it done (I´m frustrated myself about that right now)! Well, let´s just say that I have more things on my to do-list than on the finished-list..! :-D
Isn't that a lovely little dresser. Your version is brilliant - well done you!
nice job jamie. i am actually doing more projects now that i have pinterest. imagine that.
I love this! Looks great in your room.
I love pinterest. I have been tackling things slowly...and I don't go on every day because it's such a beautiful time suck!
Jamie, I absolutely LOVE this!
Your new dresser looks lovely!
I love that night stand. I am starting to get a little more acquainted with Pintrest. But I am a really good at pinning...I just hope I really turn them into projects.
loved looking back through your re do posts my friend ..you have been busy and I know your new place is looking good!!
Looks great, I really like that idea.
I love what you did with that bedside dresser. The 3 colors are great together. I've not dipped into pininterest...I should. Right now I'm having a hard time keeping up with my blog-too much damn work! 6-7 days a week is too much.
Your ability to complete projects AND blog AND pininterest is amazing.
Hi Jamie,
Love the look on your bedside dresser...very cool..I love Pinterest and I actually make many things that I have pinned..today I did the waxed leaves..they turned out great!
xo
I'm a hold out. But I'm not sure why anymore - something to do with trying to reduce the amount of time I spend online. But I keep seeing people post things they've been inspired by and then carried out and I wonder why I'm holding out.
Such a great project! (what kind of paint did you use, out of curiousity? - latex, oil?)
Great job on the dresser...I love monochromatic color schemes...so soothing to me. I do scrapbook layouts that way at times; for fun.
You're very crafty! Looks great. And thanks, now I am in love with a dresser...that Ombre is so so pretty.
Love the way your project turned out, love those colors. I had made a pact with myself to do one of my inspiration pin projects per week. I'm behind . . .
your dresser looks wonderful. i love the ombre effect. going to listen to dawes now!
Your dresser is wonderful. I'm just getting started with Pinterest, but I do think I'll use some of what I've pinned in future projects.
You are SO talented, my friend. LOVE it!
