What wonderful colours. We're not quite so advanced here in the south of England but it's started and it won't be long before the trees are all ablaze with colour. Hopefully our strange weather this summer will have benefited the autumn colours.

The gradation of colors in the first couple of photos is really dramatic. We haven't had a whole lot of color yet this year...maybe because we've had so much rain?
would you like to trade locations? Because Iowa went from 70-80 degree weather to gray skies, wind, and 30 degrees in the blink of an eye. Our trees barely still have leaves now!

Beautiful!!! It's a mixed bag here this year. Lots of trees turned brown after a long drought so we're missing some of our brightest colors in some areas. We're going away this weekend and I hope to capture a few photos like these. (No beautiful mountains, though.)

your landscapes are bursting with colors. we had no rain for the months July - Sept. and I think that impacted our colors. I haven't gotten out to the hinterland, but around town here, not so much color. your photos are extraordinary Jamie. happy weekend to you.

Pretty, nicely composed pics Jamie. We just returned from the mid west/east coast and fall is more apparent than out here in Seattle. I actually was surprised to come home to so few fallen leaves.
