I usually take my Canon point and shoot camera on trips like this where I'm trying to pack light, but left it in Istanbul so I was left with my iPhone. A lucky circumstance, it forced me to spend some more time playing with the iPhone and the apps I've been downloading and not using.
I suspect my iPhone will get more use now that I've figured out how much fun it is to use. It seems like January is always a month where I'm looking for something to spark my creativity this year I found it.

These are such beautiful spots, and the pictures are just saturated with beauty! What an incredible place to play with your iphone ;)
For a wild walk....

looks beautiful ... really love the first photo!
Love that path leading down into the trees. Congrats on picking up the iphone and making it work. I'm trying, but have yet to find anything exciting about it. Maybe later. I've not downloaded the aps, but I'm thinking about doing that. One step at a time I guess.
Glad your time on the Gold coast was rewarding.
Amazing pics Jamie! I can't believe they were taken with your phone. I guess that just proves that you need talent and not just a fancy camera to take great photos!
I love my iPhone, but I need to learn how to use more of the apps that I already have, and to be willing to play with them once I take them. I LOVE that first shot!
Loving these photos, they really captured the beauty of Australia.
It's amazing how well the phone takes pictures.
Pops forgot to say I love that path picture
