Three months after my trip to Italy, I'm finally posting the last of the photos....nothing like being right on top of things. These three photos weren't taken in the same place and have nothing to do with each other. They were just tiny pieces of beauty that caught my eye during my wanders.
I know solo travel isn't for everyone, but I love it, and these photos are part of the reason why. On my solo trips, I wander completely at my own pace. I find I'm more introspective and the world looks different to me in the quiet moments. Don't get me wrong, I like travel with groups as well, sometimes traveling with someone else means I laughter and the joy that comes from seeing the world through someone else's eyes.
Whether solo or in a group, bottom line, for me, travel is one of the great joys of life.

A solo trip sounds lovely to me :) Especially the whole being able to go on your own pace bit! Lovely photos, as always.
I have been looking back thru your photos,so beautiful, no wonder you had such a great time. There is so much to see in each photo.
These are wonderful, Jamie! I was a bit puzzled as I expected photos from Australia like on Instagram ;-)
Seems I had lost you somehow with my change to Feedly, but it should work now!
Have a wonderful weekend!
So very beautiful. That last picture of the statue is breathtaking. So amazing!
love the first image and how it represents daily life in rome. love your travels, too. enjoy your weekend!
Truly Jamie, if you didn't already have an interesting job, you could work for National Geographic with the amazing photos you take..love seeing your travels thru your lens!
Happy September ❤
I love seeing the world thru your eyes. These shots are all stunning. I don't have money to travel and it is something I would like to do. I think like you it would be such a gift to travel alone....maybe do a group thing and then extend a stay another week by yourself. That sounds delightful to me. Happy day.
