I've been in horse country for a while now, so it seems I am way overdue sharing a few photos of the rolling fields of bluegrass. My first couple of months here were more snowy than anything so this weekend when I had the opportunity to spend some time at the horse park for an event I took my camera along.
Natasha Bedingfield is one of my favorites - I've had some days lately where I've wanted to get out of the structure of life and just run and feel free, this song is the perfect fit for that feeling.

it looks wonderful! i love horses, but often feel intimidated by their size. regardless, they are elegant. the derby is this weekend! should be fun!
