I'm also realizing the little things I've missed. My own bed. My nearly silent dishwasher. My own car. The view from my back porch. Having my full wardrobe in one place. Shoe options.
One thing that hasn't changed, I can't spend enough time with Miss M and Tiny T. I haven't convinced T to stand still for photos yet, but Miss M let me grab a couple while we were running around the yard (my own yard!) on Saturday.

Home is the best!! Welcome home
if i am away from my dog, i just want to cuddle with her on the couch. other things i miss when i am away from home are food, and cooking for myself. i love that.

I remember how much I used to love to go home and sleep in my bed. HOME has changed though and when I visit my parents it feels foreign. I miss the bed I share with my husband...our house...our shower...etc. But it's the same thought. Your niece is so cute. Let me know if you want me to do anything with that photo you commented about.

Glad you are home. When away from my home I miss our yard and the trees and the comfort that comes with being in a home decorated for our style; and my scraproom.
Oh, god! I always miss my own bed! There's nothing better than crawling into my own bed after being away from home. Glad you're home and safe and sound!

i love being at home ... and no matter how long it is that i am away, i so love coming down the road and seeing our home and walking in the door ... just makes everything right in my heart ... : )
i miss all the familiar sights and sounds and smells (yes, even that musty smell that only a really old house can have after being closed up for more than a day ; ) ... the first thing i usually do is stand in the dining area, take a deep breath and give thanks ... xo
