I know I'm the five millionth person to post photos of the lovely colors of fall, but I just can't resist doing it. The colors are amazing. I love the photo above because the leaves are perfect, they are spotted with age.
I've been having fun experimenting with Textures, especially those from Kim Klassen. I think the use of her nutmeg texture turns this average photo of some fall leaves into something a little more. The texture adds such warmth. A huge thanks to Kim for her talent and generosity for keeping us in textures.
A little Eva Cassidy really does make every day a little more beautiful, her "Autumn Leaves" is the only choice for this post.

But you have to post pics of autum beauty. We all do, it's just so darn beautiful. I haven't yet because the leaves aren't turning yet, but look out when they do.
I agree, i love Kim's textures & I love kim. She is sooo sweet and generous. I've been playing with her new cookbook and love it!

one of these days i gotta get me some textures...and some photoshop :)
Those really are beautiful - you just wait until our lives really change. I'll be pimping them out all over!
I've not experimented with textures. Very fascinating. I agree...we need to share pictures of the lovely colors of this season.
Fall colors are impossible to resist!!!
Resistance is futile :)
I love these textures and you can never tire of autumn leaves. I was listening to eva cassidy yesterday, great choice.
Autumn colours are just beautiful, and I too love Eva Cassidy, although I used the Yves Montand version of this song as I love it in French.
I agree, photos of fall leaves are a must. If it ever stops raining here, I'll be out hunting them down, too. I'm loving Kim's textures!
Great photo and really lovely texture work. I'm a sucker for autumn - I'm savouring all of it because pretty soon I know there won't be any colour at all and it'll be winter
Beautiful pic!
I'm right there with you....have to keep taking leaf photos. Much like the inability to pass a lovely flower during the summer months. I will have to check out Kim's blog and get some help with processing....I agree; whatever nutmeg is-it's working.
Love Kim Klassen. These are beautiful. And the leaves haven't really started to change here in Memphis so I hope you post lots more for me to see! Gorgeous!
I love photos of Fall! And we have to enjoy them while we can because soon enough it will be winter!
