Last month, I had a free weekend in Turkey so I hopped a plane to Antalya and spent the weekend on the beach of the Mediterranean. I'd like to say it was sunny and warm, but it was breezy and cool so I spent more time layered up than I did tanning.
Cool weather or not, it was a perfectly relaxing weekend, plenty of quiet time spent walking along the beach, picking up shells and pebbles.
I even got brave and had my first Turkish Bath experience, an experience I'm sure to be repeating!

Even chilly it looks like a beautiful spot to enjoy!
Love to hear more about the Turkish bath...what's it entail?
Rolling waves on a beach, wet sand in your toes, a Hamam treatment in Turkey! Sounds dreamy to me.
Going away for a few days is always fun, especially when it involves Antalya! ;)
Gorgeous pics and such dramatic sky!
What a dramatic sky, is right! I'd also like to hear more about the Turkish bath. I'm clueless. Gorgeous photos. Turkey was never on my bucket list, but your photos make me want to go there.
Looks like a piece of heaven.
This looks like a gorgeous place to spend some down time-which you definitely deserve. While I think people consider the beach a warm (and tan getting) place, I've learned to love it more when it's empty of others. A huge expanse of solitude for reflection and rebirth. Looks like you found some of that in your images...or maybe all the crowds were behind you. Hope all is well Jamie. I'm off to Cuba on Sunday and hoping to bring back some images to share.
I wanna go there!
I'm with Nic! I want to go there, too! Next vacation spot! Gorgeous photos, Jamie. I love the texture of the sand and depth the clouds add to the pictures.
Be happy you went when it was cool. I always go in July, when it's DEATHLY hot and it's hard to walk outside even for 5 minutes!
as much as i love the ocean, the pools look incredible and no worries about wiping out. enjoy your weekend!
Saw Ed's video, very powerful. Thanks for sharing.
Love this place.
Will have to look on the map to find this lov,ey spot..wow..Jamie, your photos get more beautiful with each take❤
