This spring I took a Sunday drive to Gunlock Reservoir in Southern Utah, what a perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday and another reminder of how much I love that part of the world. I didn't go anywhere quite this beautiful this weekend, but I did spend a couple of perfect hours with my sister, pedicures and lunch together was just what the doctor ordered.
I've been listening to the new Snow Patrol and have been reminded all again how much I love them. Here's my favorite track: Lifening.

It was a fun time. I need to go back and get that salad again!! It was yummy!
Gorgeous pics, love the scenery! :-9
These are wonderful, Jamie!
I especially love the last one.
Wonderful textures and focal point.
So glad you got some quality time with your sister this weekend, and I hope you've had a wonderful beginning to your week.
xo.
Your part of the country is so different from what is here. I like seeing these, for they are outside of my imagination. Love that last rusty shot. Glad you had time with your sister. Wish I could have time with my bro with out the entourage of family in tow. Maybe later.
Thanx for the help with that adapter...on the way in the mail.
Great photos! I loved visiting Gunlock often when I was in St. George. It is such a neat place. I will have to show you my pics of it during all the flooding while I was down there.
Great pics as always. Sounds like a nice visit with your sis.
oh this looks like such a great trip with excellent photos
It was great catching up with you on your blog this morning. Utah is such a photogenic place. I'm hoping we'll get back there some day.

Oh my word, these photos are beautiful!
How cool. I drove through Utah many many years ago on a cross country trip. Sorry I missed Gunlock Reservoir.
Now I need to take a Sunday drive to Gunlock. I haven't been there in over 20 years (wait, did that make me sound old?) just as beautiful as I remember.
