Accidental Bokeh

Christmas Bokeh
What  happens when you forget you left your camera on manual focus and try and get a couple photos of your Christmas tree?

Christmas Bokeh
Accidental bokeh.  Which, for some reason, I love (SOOC.)

I finally got my hands on the new Belle & Sebastian - love it.

Holy loveliness! I've seen this effect all over the place, but I believe this is the only time I've seen it happen naturally! Those white christmas lights are just pure magic. :)

I love it too, and I just read a blog post about why one has octagonal bokeh and the other is round. But now I can't remember what it is for sure.

What does bokeh mean?

The fact that you took these pictures on accident just adds to their perfection. They are dying to go into a frame on the mantle.

P.S. You discovered Belle and Sebastian's new album!! I'm so proud! Track 4 is always on repeat when I listen to their album... Love it!
