Bird on a Pine

Bird on a Pine

I've never really thought of myself as a bird watcher, but when a group spent part of the day hanging out in the trees outside my window they gave me an excuse to ignore work for a while.  Not surprisingly, when I finally got up to grab my camera they all disappeared, leaving me just one shot of this little one before he deserted me too.

..but; even though only one bird...fabulous composition of the picture. I like how his tail feathers are fanned.

Well I must say that that ONE shot you got is all you needed to make an impression on me! Beautiful processing..and I love to watch birds when they land on the windowsill or in the garden right outside my living room window! I've never had the opportunity to photograph one yet, but hopefully soon!

I have been trying to capture a cute pic of my dog with snow on his nose after he sniffs the ground - he's too quick for me!

I love this photograph, Jamie. I've never had much luck photographing birds, but I haven't given up trying.

I LOVE this image Jamie. What a beautiful catch. I must start to look for birds-they have a beauty I've failed to consider-but there's still time.
