Visiting Zion's always makes me wish I'd paid more attention in my science classes so I would better understand how the canyons and layers were formed and worn down over the years.
Have you fallen in love with Of Monsters and Men yet? I have, here's their Mountain Sound. What do you think?

I grew up with a rock hound dad so the beauty of rock is something I always appreciate. You showed it off well. Love seeing pictures of places I haven't been but when I see a picture of somewhere I have been its even more exciting
I love the shots you took, it is an amazing place..need to see it again..❤
Wow, super beautiful!

wow these are amazing, Thanks for your comments, sorry too we didn't meet up, london seems very flat now after the olympics have finished.
The textures and tones you have captured here are amazing, Jamie. Just beautiful.
Now I have to go check out Of Monsters and Men!
Wishing you a wonderful day.
xo.
I haven't been there in so long! I think our kids were all so little last time we were there. Maybe a road trip is called for.
You got some great shots of all the rock formations. I didn't pay attention in science class, either. We were too busy playing with the alcohol burners. :)
These images are amazing... Mother nature really know how to makes things!!! Ha!
Beautiful! You have captured these scenes so perfectly.
These are gorgeous shots. I love how you captured the detail and texture of each formation. In all my times in Zions I've never noticed just how detailed some of those rocks are.
