One of my favorites was this crumbling ruin, which is pretty much the opposite of anything delicate or dainty, and yet it was built with heavenly thoughts in mind. It was built thousands of years ago and still stands (at least in part.) In this very sold structure prayers and meditations were sent up for thousands of years.
While coming up with a picture was difficult for this week's assignment, the song was easy. No one's voice is as ethereal as Alison Krauss'

Oh, I completely agree. She sings like an angel. I have always wondered if she could sing loudly. She has such a soft voice. :)
Alison Krauss definitely does have a heavenly voice that is for sure and the temple looks lovely too.
It would be incredible to see that in person. Amazingly beautiful.
Have a great weekend Jamie!

oh wow Jamie I listened to that voice and words of that song and I thought of the post I did about the book A Thousand Splendid Suns, it would be the perfect song to cover those women in the book. I love the way you have song for each post great stuff..
Love the different take on "ethereal", and very glad for the explanation. Lovely photo, and as echoed above, well paired with Krauss. Thank you!
Wow, that is a powerful picture. Very fitting for the theme.
What a very beautiful place...
Great photo for the prompt, lucky you to have seen it in person! Love the song too x
Another beautiful photo and one of my favorite artists! I've seen Alison Krauss twice in the last few years and they were both great concerts.
seeing the scale of the temple in relation to the buildings on either side really gives you a sense of its size. incredible and love alison with union station.
